TORONTO STAR PICKS NEW PUBLISHER

Michael Goldbloom has been promoted to publisher of The Toronto Star. Goldbloom is currently deputy publisher and senior vice-president of strategy and human resources for the daily newspaper. He will succeed John Honderich, who will step down as publisher at the company's annual general meeting on May 5.
