MAXXMEDIA JOINS MEDIA PLANNING GROUP

Maxxmedia has joined the Media Planning Group. The Toronto-based organization will now be known as MPG/Maxxmedia. Maxxmedia had recently been operating as a division of Arnold Worldwide Canada, which is part of the Havas Group. MPG is the media arm of Havas. The change in Canada is part of an ongoing process several years old by which the media operations of Arnold and Euro RSCG are being consolidated under the MPG name. Although it will no longer operate as a division of Arnold, MPG/Maxxmedia will continue to do work for the agency's clients. Maxxmedia president David Chung will continue in that job with MPG/Maxxmedia.
