Bureau of Measurement Canada has released a new media-consumer study. This installment of the bi-annual RTS survey sampled approximately 55,0000 participants. The results indicate that 35% of Canadian teens have a cell phone, 19% of Canadians are members of an airline frequent flyer club and 86% of Canadian adults have a credit card. Also, 49% of Canadian drivers use a vehicle that was bought new, 40% own a vehicle that was bought used and 10% drive a leased vehicle. The results consist of national and regional data, plus local data for Victoria, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, London, Kitchener, Hamilton, Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City and Halifax.
