IRVING GAS STATIONS TO BECOME CANADIAN TIRE LOCATIONS

Canadian Tire Petroleum will re-brand 16 Irving gas stations as part of a new agreement with Irving Oil. The stations are located in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador. Irving will remain the exclusive gasoline supplier for the stations. Last year Canadian Tire Petroleum began a program of building of sites and re-branding the sites of other gasoline retailers. "The partnership will more than double Canadian Tire's gas bar presence in Atlantic Canada and enable the expansion of gas bars in communities with Canadian Tire stores," said Peter Kilty, vice-president of Canadian Tire Petroleum.
