FORDE MEDIA WORKS OPENS IN TORONTO

Sherland Forde, former president of MediaVest Canada, has opened a new firm called Forde Media Works. The Toronto-based company will act as an in-house media adviser for clients to create and implement media programs, to monitor results and to measure quantifiable value for money spent. "The launch of FMW's services is strategically timed to meet a growing need," said Forde. "The complexity of the industry has placed additional burdens on marketers and advertisers that are expensive, exceed resources and can corrode media value."
