SEARS.CA JOINS MSN.CA SHOPPING CHANNEL

Sears.ca, the Web site of Toronto-based retailer Sears Canada, has joined the MSN.ca Shopping channel on May 9. Users of the site can browse items available through Sears.ca. Jim Osborne, national manager of electronic commerce for Sears Canada, said that working with MSN.ca is a way for Sears to raise awareness of the Sears.ca property, particularly among Canadians who have not yet visited the Web site. Other retailers in the channel include Bell Canada, Canadian Tire, Future Shop, Kodak and HBC. Public relations for MSN.ca are handled by High Road Communications of Toronto.
