COCA-COLA RELEASES NEW NESTEA CREATIVE

Toronto-based Coca-Cola released a new television commercial for Nestea ice tea last week. The 30-second ad maintains the use of "Nestea Plunge" imagery in which drinkers of the beverage fall backwards into a pool of water. Called "Fire Guy," the ad shows a man mowing a lawn. The heat causes the man to catch fire. He walks down the street past various ways to douse the flames until he comes to a Nestea vending machine. He drinks a can and falls into a pool of water. English and French versions of the commercial, created by Lowe Roche of Toronto, will run for 15 weeks through the summer.
