DENTAL ASSOCIATION PROMOTES ORAL HEALTH MONTH

Colgate and the Canadian Dental Association are promoting April Oral Health month with an outdoor campaign conducted through Viacom Outdoor. The campaign was developed by Mediaedge:cia. The creative was done by Young & Rubicam. During the campaign, advertising will cover the stairs, floors, turnstiles and walls of the Bloor and Sheppard subway stations in Toronto. Pictures of healthy smiles are accompanied by the copy "Nice Smile. Keep it that way" and "Nice Smile. Show it off for years to come." Vinyl decals with images of Colgate Toothpaste have also been placed on transit shelters in Toronto and Montreal. The advertising is being supported with public relations activities, including a sampling program, handled by Cohn & Wolfe.
