TROPICANA READIES NEW TV AD

Juice distributor Tropicana will break a new television advertising campaign this week for its Pure Premium orange juice. The TV ad, called "Straws," focuses on the taste of the company's not-from-concentrate orange juice. In it, a boy extends a straw through the window of a house to drink his friend's juice. The accompanying music contains the lyrics, "Tropicana, nothing finer / So let your spirit loose / Put the straw in the orange / The better tasting juice." The ad's tagline is "Tropicana. You can't pick a better tasting juice." The commercial was created by Downtown Partners of Toronto. The Quebec execution was handled by bleu, blanc, rouge.
