SEGA AND MCDONALD'S CREATE HAPPY MEAL PREMIUMS

Sega of America and McDonald's are preparing a new line of McDonald's Happy Meal premiums based on two of Sega's top-selling franchises: Sonic The Hedgehog and Super Monkey Ball. Distribution is planned for summer 2003 at participating McDonald's restaurants in North America. Marketing campaigns from both companies to support the premiums are planned, but no details are yet available. In Canada marketing support by Sega will be handled by its public relations agency Temple Scott Associates of Toronto. Advertising for McDonald's in Canada is done by Cossette Communication-Marketing while public relations are handled by Weber Shandwick.
