CHATELAINE PROMOTES 75TH BIRTHDAY

Chatelaine is using the occasion of its 75th birthday to offer special advertising opportunities to several advertisers. The monthly magazine will run a variety of birthday-themed advertising through the year intended to compliment the magazine's "Its our birthday but you get the gifts" campaign. Three birthday-themed ads appear in the March issue. Ads from Sally Hansen and Belvedere International contain contests for Chatelaine readers. An ad from Parmalat, Lactantia and Robin Hood includes a recipe for a Caramel Toffee Crunch Cheesecake. Additional advertiser created efforts will run as the year goes on. Television and radio advertising, developed by Creative Initiatives of Toronto, and online materials at <http://www.chatelaine.com> are also promoting the birthday.
