MOLSON BEGINS EDMONTON OILERS PROMOTION

Montreal-based Molson has begun a promotion called "My Team. My Beer" in Edmonton. During the campaign, which will run until March 15, Molson will donate one dollar to the Edmonton Oilers hockey club for each dozen Molson Canadian or Canadian Light sold in the city. The promotion includes a four-week radio campaign, a television billboard during Oilers games and in-store materials, all created by The Hive Strategic Marketing of Toronto. The initiative was also promoted in an email to people who opted to receive information at MolsonInsider.com.
