LES AFFAIRES HAS NEW LOOK
By Adnews Staff
The Quebec weekly business tabloid Les Affaires now has more color and is more flexible in its layout. Assistant publisher and editor Jean-Paul Gagné told Adnews last week that the biggest change is in the layout. In the past it was very standardized but now it allows for more creativity, he said. Les Affaires also has four new columnists: University of Montreal economics professor Rodrigue Tremblay, Institut de recherche en politiques publiques president Monique Jérome-Forget, philosopher Jacques Dufresne and University of Quebec communications professor Michel Cartier. Les Affaires has 80,000 subscribers and sells about 6,000 copies at newsstands. The paper is published by Transcontinental Inc. of Montreal.
