BROTHER AIRS NEW WORK GROUP SOLUTIONS ADS DURING SUPER BOWL

Brother International Corporation (Canada) of Dollard-des-Ormeaux, PQ, continued its Work Group Solutions television advertising campaign over the weekend. The campaign, created by Toronto-based MacPhee Marketing Communications last year, makes use of two gangster characters who eliminate "uncooperative" office equipment such as printers and photocopiers. The tagline is "Put a hit on office inefficiency." The characters appeared in two ads during the Canadian broadcast of the Super Bowl yesterday. The first ad, a 45-second commercial called "Christening," is based on a scene from the move "The Godfather." It was accompanied by a 15-second ad called "Office." The Work Group Solutions campaign will run through 2003.
