SONY AND PEPSI PLAN GLOBAL INITIATIVE

Sony Music Entertainment of New York and Pepsi-Cola North America of Purchase, NY are preparing a global marketing campaign. The initiative will begin next summer in the U.S. It will include radio advertising for Pepsi brands that will make use of songs by Sony Music artists. Pepsi-sponsored television specials featuring Sony Music artists will also be produced. Co-branded materials will be used at non-music retail outlets. Internationally, co-branded marketing efforts of an as-yet unspecified nature will promote Pepsi products and Sony Music artists.
