24/7 SIGNS DEAL WITH GLOBALMEDIC

Toronto-based 24/7 Canada has signed a one-year deal with GlobalMedic, the Internet technology division of the Canadian Medical Association, to create sponsorships and sell advertising on the <http://www.cma.ca> Web site. Previously advertising sales were handled in-house. The CMA.ca site carries news and information aimed at Canadian physicians. It includes a medical reference library, clinical practice tools and services, discussion forums and classified ads. Additional companies represented by 24/7 Canada include America Online, Bell Zinc and Expedia.
