BUDGET AND BELL WORLD START HANDS FREE PROMOTION

Budget Rent A Car and Bell World will begin a new promotion on Oct. 1. called "Hands Free." During the initiative, Budget customers who rent for two consecutive days will receive a hands-free cellular phone headset. Customers who qualify for the giveaway will receive a voucher that can be redeemed at participating Bell World retail stores or by mail. Jonathan Ison, vice-president of marketing and business development for Budget, said the giveaway is being promoted with print ads in travel publications such as enRoute, Destinations, Travel Week and Canadian Traveller, as well as in Bell World's October and December flyers, with in-store materials at Budget and Bell World locations and on both company Web sites. Also, outdoor and radio creative has been provided to Budget franchisees to support the promotion regionally. The creative for the "Hands Free" promotion is from True North Advertising of Toronto.
