PALM PROMOTES GOLF CL FOR QUEBEC VW DEALERS

Palm Publicité Marketing has created a new advertising campaign for the Volkswagen Dealers of Quebec. The "Stop Dreaming" campaign promotes the 2003 Golf CL. Five 30-second French-language television commercials breaking today depict people caught in daydreams about a paper cutout of the car. The paper cutout also appears on the 282 billboards that will be used in Montreal, Quebec City, the Eastern Townships and Hull. Some of these boards show a cutout car held in place by a large paperclip. The campaign will also include print advertising in daily and weekly newspapers and English-language radio advertising in Montreal. These ads will focus on the price of the Golf CL. The print ads will run in October to coincide with the arrival of the new models at dealerships. The radio campaign will run until the holiday season.
