PUBLICIS CREATES COOKIE CAMPAIGN FOR DARE

Dare Foods is in the midst of a new campaign for Whippet cookies created by Publicis of Montreal. Advertising for the marshmallow and graham cookie includes two 30-second television commercials, promotional billboards on the TQS television network, in-store materials and a Web site at <http://www.whippet-lelait.sympatico.ca>. The creative depicts the ways to eat a Whippet cookie, according to Pierre Legault, brand director at Publicis Canada. The tagline is "Whippet pur delice pur delire" (Whippet is pure delight and pure delirium). Advertising will run until mid-October, accompanied by two consumer contests on the Web site.
