By Adnews Staff
Beautiful British Columbia has changed its name to British Columbia Magazine. The quarterly travel magazine has a circulation of 137,505. It will debut its new name with its fall issue, which will be distributed next month. In addition, the magazine has begun accepting advertising for the first time. In eastern Canada ad sales are being handled by brainSTONE communications of Toronto. In western Canada the magazine is represented by Eccles Media of Vancouver. Advertisers in the magazine's upcoming issue include Canon and Glen Fiddich. Editorial in the magazine's first issue under its new name includes stories on hiking in Yoho National Park, snorkeling in the Campbell River and bear watching in Knight Inlet. A contest for the advertising community, in which the grand prize winner will receive a trip to Whistler, BC, is promoting the changes to the magazine.
