NIKE CANADA AND NEW AGE SPORTS OPEN WOMEN'S STORE

Nike Canada of Thornhill, ON and New Age Sports, a retail licensee in British Columbia, have opened Canada's first Nike Women's store. In the U.S. Nike operates two similar stores in California called Nike Goddess. According to Nike Canada, the 1,505 square foot Canadian store in Vancouver's Oakridge Centre is inspired by the U.S. Nike Goddess stores and incorporates their "boutique feel" and 'bright, airy environment." "The store will offer a selection of Nike merchandise and products for women that integrate athletic wear into everyday lifestyle looks, creating new wardrobe solutions that work in the gym and on the street," said Molly Goodish, director of apparel for Nike Canada. New Age Sports and Nike Canada have also partnered on three unisex Nike-branded stores in British Columbia.
