LAND ROVER BEGINS GLOBAL CHALLENGE PROMOTION

Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover has begun a promotion called the G4 Challenge. One competitor from each of 16 participating countries will be chosen to participate in the five-week challenge, which will begin on March 31, 2003. The event will consist of four stages in four time zones. Four Land Rover vehicle models, the Range Rover, Discovery, Freelander and Defender, will be used by the competitors as they participate in sport activities including kayaking, mountain biking and climbing. These activities will take place in remote areas as well as urban centres on the east and west coasts of North America, in Australia and in South Africa. Potential participants can register at the Landroverg4challenge.com Web site. Information and registration forms will also be distributed through Land Rover dealers. Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover Canada, based in Brampton, ON, will select the Canadian competitor by October 2002. Marketing support for the G4 Challenge in Canada will include print advertising and point-of-sale materials. Advertising for Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover Canada is done by Young & Rubicam.
