ECHO ADVERTISING HIRED BY FAIRMONT PRESIDENT'S CLUB

Echo Advertising has been named the agency of record for Toronto-based Fairmont Hotels & Resorts' Fairmont President's Club, the chain's guest recognition program. It currently has approximately 150,000 members. Echo received the account following an agency search that also considered Mosaic, Response Innovations, Vestcom International and KickStart Marketing & Design. The agency will immediately begin working on marketing initiatives including a direct mail acquisition program for new members, off-line and online member newsletters and new membership kits. "After a careful review, we selected Echo Advertising for their in-depth knowledge of our business, strong strategic thinking and a powerful team that demonstrates a history of developing and executing creative campaigns," said Jon Marnela, director of customer retention at Fairmont Hotels.
