SNAPPLE PROMOTES NEW FLAVOURS

Snapple Beverage Group, based in White Plains, NY, is in the middle of a radio and billboard advertising campaign for three new flavours: Snapple Apple, Lemon Tea and Very Cherry Tea. A series of three radio commercials broke in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver last month. Outdoor billboards appeared this month. The radio creative makes uses of a character named Jim who sings about the new flavours. The billboards read, "Drink Snapple or Jim keeps singing." The radio ads were created by Deutsch of New York, which handles advertising for Snapple in the U.S. The agency handled the adaptation of the campaign to run in Canada. The billboard advertising was created by Portofino Studios of Toronto. The radio campaign will run until the first week of August. The billboards will run until the end of August.
