Consumer products company Procter & Gamble has signed a licensing agreement with electronic products manufacturer Panasonic under which Panasonic will sell a new line of hair dryers in North America using Procter & Gamble's Pantene Pro-V trademark. Pantene is one of P&G's hair care brands. The hair dryers are expected to roll out to retailers this fall. "Although Panasonic personal care and health care products, like shavers and massage loungers, are highly recognized among men, we are looking to strengthen our efforts to reach women 18 to 34," said Richard Muchanic, vice-president of home appliances, personal care and health care products at Panasonic. According to Panasonic, this is the first time the company has co-branded one of its personal care products.
