LABATT PROMOTES COOLER PACKS

Labatt Breweries of Canada will introduce a Labatt Blue Cooler Pack to Ontario Beer Stores this week. The nylon cooler has a waterproof lining, zippered top-flap and two hand-carrying straps. The purchase price includes a 24-bottle case of Labatt Blue. "All you have to do is add a bag of ice and you have an instant beer cooler," said Bob Chant, director of public affairs at Labatt. A multimedia campaign including television and print advertising is promoting the cooler packs. The print creative was done by The Gencom Group of Toronto, while television advertising was done by Grip Ltd. of Toronto. Public relations for Labatt are handled by Weber Shandwick Worldwide.
