CAMPAIGN SAYS GAS IS THE WAY TO GO

Consumers Gas launched a six-month Ontario billboard campaign earlier this month to tell consumers that natural gas makes more sense than ever. One ad is for natural gas fireplaces with the headline "Matchless Performance." Gas fireplaces can be turned on with the flick of a switch and are cleaner than wood. The board for gas barbecues reads "BBQ on tap: connect direct." The ad for dryers says "Watch your costs tumble," and the one for stoves says "Ready when you are." The ads were created by United Business Communications of Toronto, which is no longer a Consumers Gas agency.
