FIRM PROMOTES PROGRAM FOR INCREASING WEB SITE REVENUES

6S Marketing Inc. is pitching a system intended to increase Web site revenues for its clients. According to the Vancouver-based Internet marketing company, the system consists of six steps: evaluating and research, marketing campaign creation, Web site optimization, search engine positioning, reporting and analysis, and maintenance and ongoing development. According to 6S, CHIP Hospitality, a subsidiary of Canadian Hotel Income Properties Real Estate Investment Trust, used this program with the Web sites of four of its properties including the Citadel Halifax and the Mayfield Inn Edmonton. Based on the results, CHIP Hospitality has assigned 6S eight additional Internet marketing projects for 2002.
