ECHO ADVERTISING RUNS ONLINE CAMPAIGN FOR FOOT LOCKER

Echo Advertising + Marketing has created an eight-week online campaign for Toronto-based athletic footwear and apparel retailer Foot Locker which began on March 1. The campaign is running on MuchMusic.com targeting 12 to 24 year olds. The campain makes use of a new style of banner ads called "Vokens" by Toronto-based eyeReturn. The ads contain animation and sound and can move around the screen. The campaign is the first online effort Foot Locker has undertaken. In the past year Toronto-based Echo has handled a number of traditional initiatives for Foot Locker, including two radio campaigns. The online campaign promotes seven new products available at Foot Locker.
