SYMPATICO-LYCOS BREAKS NEWAD CAMPAIGN

Sympatico-Lycos is promoting its Web site with a four-week campaign through Toronto-based media company NewAd. The campaign uses NewAd's Soundboards, which play an audio track when a viewer stands in front of a motion detector. The audio consists of 20 seconds of music intended to get the attention of the viewer. The creative uses the headline "Listen Up" and the tagline "Lose yourself in everything that is Entertainment at Sympatico.ca!" The campaign will run for the month of March. Its intended target is socially active people. The boards in use are located in a number of city venues that participated in the recent Canadian Music Week 2002, of which Sympatico-Lycos was the title sponsor.
