NELVANA INTRODUCES MEDABOTS ONLINE GAME

Toronto-based animation company Nelvana has constructed a new online game based on its animated series "Medabots". In Canada the series is seen on YTV. It follows a group of kids and their pet robots called Medabots. Medabots have artificial intelligence and weapons they use to compete against other Medabots in robattles. Winners of the robattles acquire Medaparts from the losers. Robattle 3D was created by Faust Logic Inc. of Minneapolis. The game allows a player to create a Medabot and view it from nine camera angles as it participates in robattles. A player can collect Medaparts by winning battles or by purchasing them with points. Robattle 3D is aimed kids eight to 18 years of age.
