HOME HARDWARE INTRODUCES LOYALTY PROGRAM

Home Hardware Stores Ltd. of St. Jacobs, ON will introduce a new customer loyalty program on March 1. Existing Homecard credit card holders will be automatically enrolled in the new Home Advantage program, which will offer members prizes such as vacations, merchandise and gift certificates. Members will automatically be entered into a bi-monthly draw when they use a Homecard to pay for purchases. With each accumulated $25 in purchases, cardholders receive an additional chance to win. Every second month Home Advantage members will receive a bulletin containing coupons and discount offers as well as information on upcoming contests and Home brand products. Home Hardware will promote the program with in-store materials and exposure in its annual catalogue, bi-monthly national flyer and its in-store magazine Home At Home. Additional promotional support will include an on-hold message and radio advertising created by Home Hardware's ad agency Sharpe Blackmore. Public relations for Home Hardware are handled by National Public Relations.
