TAXAMATIC FILES 2002 CAMPAIGN

Taxamatic Inc. of Richmond Hill, ON, has broken a new multimedia advertising campaign. Taxamatic develops the Taxwiz and Impotmatique tax preparation software programs. The company also runs the Taxwiz To Go and Impotmatique Direct prepaid online tax preparation services. According to Taxamatic, the 2002 campaign is intended to capture more of the Canadian personal income tax software market share. Print ads in daily newspapers in Quebec, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver read "If You're Still Using QuickTax, TaxWiz asks you Why?" Three 60-second radio spots will run in the same markets throughout February. A direct mail component in Quebec is also part of the campaign. The print advertising was created by S.M. Collins Advertising of Richmond Hill, ON. English radio was handled by Pointman! Productions of Toronto, while French radio was handled by J.P. Martel et compagnie of Montreal. Media buying for the radio ads was handled by The Media Company of Toronto. Public relations for Taxamatic are done by The Communications Group, also of Toronto.
