BURGER KING INTRODUCES KING VALUE MENU

Burger King Restaurants of Canada is beginning a value menu pilot program in about one-third of its restaurants. The King Value Menu will contain eight items available for $0.99, including fries, onion rings, turnovers, mozzarella sticks and burgers. The menu program will be tested in 119 restaurants including most locations in Alberta as well as in locations in Winnipeg, Sherbrooke and Toronto. Burger King will promote the King Value Menu with in-restaurant materials created by Kickstart Marketing and Design of Toronto. Additional support will include radio advertising in some markets in which the program is running. Advertising for Burger King is done by Ammirati Puris of Toronto. In Quebec, Burger King uses Communications Bleu Blanc Rouge of Montreal.
