APES TOUR TORONTO FOR MOVIE PROMOTION

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment sent a party of apes to Toronto yesterday to promote the release of Planet of the Apes on video and DVD. Four actors in ape suits passed the day riding the subway, reading at Chapters, getting coffee at Starbucks, getting a piercing on Queen St., shopping in Yorkville, working out at the Downtown YMCA and dancing at HMV. They were accompanied by a Twentieth Century Fox representative who played the role of tour guide and movie promoter. The promotional stunt was created and managed by Media Profile of Toronto.
