TELUS MOBILITY PROMOTES PER USE RATE FOR WIRELESS WEB ACCESS

Telus Mobility is promoting to its customers a new pay-per-use wireless Web access plan. "Value-based Pay Per Use makes the standard airtime billing model used by most wireless carriers obsolete," said Robert Blumenthal, vice-president of wireless Internet services for Telus Mobility. Customers will pay a set cost for Telus Mobility's Pocket Web premium services such as Pocket Play games, Pocket 411 telephone directories and Pocket Map mapping and direction services. Each month customers will be able to access a certain number of Pocket Web services for free, after which per use fees will be charged to their monthly statements. Telus Mobility is promoting the new Pay Per Use option to customers online at <http://www.telusmobility.com>, in-stores with new collateral materials from Taxi Advertising & Design of Toronto and with statement inserts.
