A new Toronto-based Internet company called AdBargains Inc. <http://www.adbargains.com> opens this week, pitching last-minute inventory to advertising buyers and sellers, according to a report in the National Post. Created by Jack Denneboom, president of Denneboom Marketing Group, also of Toronto, AdBargains will offer last-minute print, television, radio and outdoor inventory that has become available because of a cancellation or a change in plans, the report said. For example, a newspaper can post advertising space still available in the next day's issue at a discounted rate in an effort to fill the space. Conversely, An advertiser which has already paid for ad space but has changed its plans can use AdBargains to resell the space. According to Denneboom, plans are in the works to offer an email alert service for buyers wishing to be notified when advertising space in certain markets becomes available. AdBargains will take a 25% commission on the price of the ad space, paid by the seller.
