ROGERS AND KODAK PUT PHOTONET TV ON-AIR
By Adnews Staff
Rogers Communications and Kodak Canada have created a service called Kodak PhotoNet TV for Rogers Interactive Television. PhotoNet allows customers to get their pictures developed and uploaded to the Internet. When customers pick up their prints they also receive instructions for accessing their photos online. Rogers Interactive TV customers can then view their photos on their television screens. The password-protected service also allows customers to share online photos with family and friends. A direct mail campaign to Rogers Interactive TV customers will support the introduction of Kodak's PhotoNet TV service. The piece, created by Ogilvy & Mather, Kodak's agency of record, will also offer customers three free uploads of their photos. Public relations for the launch of PhotoNet TV are being handled by Hunter LaVigne Communications of Aurora, ON.
