KIA CANADA TO GIVE SWAMP TOURS

Kia Canada, based in Mississauga, will take two contest winners and their guests on a Swamp Tour like the one featured in a recent television commercial for its Sportage 4x4. The promotion, called "Kia's Call of da Swamp", operated in partnership with CTV, began on May 21. Contestants were asked to tune into CTV to watch the contest commercial, which ran until June 3. The spot directed viewers to visit a Kia dealer and check out a Sportage 4x4, after which they were to visit CTV.ca and answer three Kia questions to enter the contest. Five semi-finalists from all the entries received will be chosen and flown to Toronto to do their best "Ayee!" call for the camera. From June 25 to July 8, the semi-finalists' yells will be aired and viewers will be asked to vote online for their favourite. The contestant who receives the most votes will win a Swamp Tour. The second tour will be awarded to an online voter. The winners and their guests will take their tour with Blackie, the guide who appeared in the Swamp Tour television commercial.
