ÉPOXY OPENS PARIS OFFICE

Montreal-based Époxy Communications has opened a new European office in Paris. Founded in 1992, the agency offers integrated communication services and counts Labatt Brewery, Avid Technologies and the Royal Canadian Mint among its clients. The Paris office will serve the agency's clients in Europe including Interbrew, A Snowboard (a subsidiary of Rossignol) and the Daniel Langlois Foundation. Heading the Paris office is Époxy's vice-president of new media Jean-Christopher Yacono, who will commute between the Montreal and Paris offices, and Catherine Petter, a designer with the agency's Montreal office, who is being transferred to Paris as artistic director. "We've been looking to increase our foothold on the European market form some time now," said Époxy president Daniel Fortin. "The projects we're involved in, mainly graphic design, advertising and Web sites, are increasing in popularity in international circles." Fortin said the agency is also planning to add a third office to its network in the San Francisco area.
