BRIDGESTONE EXPERIENCES F1 FEVER

Bridgestone/Firestone Canada of Mississauga is running a mobile billboard campaign through Motomedia Advertising of Woodbridge, ON, for the Montreal Grand Prix racing event. Promoting the Bridgestone brand, the billboards read "F1ever". The campaign targets fans in high-traffic areas in Montreal. Creative executions showing a race track on the back of a hand and a tire tread haircut are intended to convey that anticipation of the Grand Prix can be too much for some people to take. The tire manufacturer is also running ads in the Journal de Montreal and Journal de Quebec and will have a presence in the Grand Prix Official Souvenir Guide. Bridgestone, from the date of the Montreal Grand Prix until the end of racing season in November, will sponsor the race recap on Sunday nights in TVA Sports and Monday mornings in Salut, Bonjour. The Montreal Grand Prix takes place from June 8 to 10. Advertising for Bridgestone/Firestone is done by Goodgoll Curtis of Toronto.
