CANADIAN HOME WORKSHOP GOES ON-AIR
By Adnews Staff
Avid Media, based in Markham, ON, will create a television presence for its Canadian Home Workshop magazine this summer in the form of a regular segment on CTV's Canada AM. The magazine's project director, Paul Lewis, will guide viewers through woodworking projects and offer household tips like those found in the magazine. Each segment will tie into the magazine's editorial features. Canadian Home Workshop will also be the name of two one-hour specials which will be seen on HGTV beginning on July 22. Hosted by the magazine's contributing editor, John Sillaots, each special will look at materials viewers can use in home improvement projects. Repeats of the two programs, Extreme Wood and No Stone Unturned, will run during the fall and winter. Canadian Home Workshop is published ten times a year.
