DAYS INN SIGNS AS PARTNER IN CASTROL MARKETING PROGRAM

Toronto-based Days Inn - Canada has teamed with Castrol Consumer North America as the official hotel partner of the 2001 Castrol Pit Crew Field Marketing program. As part of the program, a mock "Pit Crew" will be travelling across Canada this summer in a VW Bug bearing the Days Inn logo. The crew will stop at race-related events and auto service locations such as Mr. Lube and Canadian Tire (the pit crew's exclusive retail partner) to demonstrate Castrol's new Accuvision Window Treatment as well as hand out samples of Castrol's Super Clean Degreaser and Cleaner. Crew members will also hand out ballots for a chance to win one of two trips to the Vancouver Indy in September including air transportation and accommodation at the Days Inn Vancouver Downtown, or tickets to the Grey Cup in November including air transportation and accommodation at the Days Inn - Montreal Brossard.
