FCB 20-80 LANDS AIR CANADA DIRECT MARKETING

Air Canada has hired FCB 20-80 of Paris to handle its direct marketing campaigns in France, according to a report in Ad Age. FCB won the business after a review with several unnamed direct marketing companies. The assignment includes a variety of business-to-business activities including database development and management, targeted mailings and print advertising. A second project will use mailings in an effort to create better awareness among existing and potential clients of services offered in the airline's business and first-class cabins, the report said. Creative components of the campaign, which breaks tomorrow, will highlight Air Canada's sponsorship of sporting events.
