PELLA PUSHES WINDOWS ON TORONTO RADIO STATIONS

Window and door manufacturer Pella Corporation, based in Pell, IA, is is in the midst of a new radio advertising campaign from Campbell Michener & Lee of Toronto. The six-week effort, airing on radio stations in the Greater Toronto Area, promotes the special features of Pella's windows and doors such as their roll screens and between-the-glass shades. The 30-second spot, called "Goldfinger", is a parody of spy movies. The ad uses the tagline "Viewed as the best". Its target is new and existing homeowners. "The aim of the spot is to entertain the audience and set fourth the proposition that if you're changing your windows or doors, replace them with Pella," said Campbell, Michener & Lee vice-president and account director Dan Danyer. The campaign will return to the airwaves for a second flight in the fall.
