NATIONAL GALLERY OF CANADA HIRES DIESEL
By Adnews Staff
The National Gallery of Canada has picked Diesel Marketing of Montreal to handle its advertising needs. Diesel won the Ottawa-based gallery's advertising account following a request-for-proposals. Two additional unnamed agencies had been shortlisted. Diesel will initially develop branding for the gallery and its affiliate, the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography, also located in Ottawa. The agency will also be responsible for all the advertising for the permanent collections and special exhibits of both the gallery and museum. Previously advertising was handled by Ottawa-based Firehouse, which declined to participate in the review.
