LONDON DRUGS NAMES WASSERMAN AOR

London Drugs of Richmond, BC has appointed Wasserman & Partners Advertising of Vancouver its new agency of record. Wasserman will be responsible for media buying and broadcast creative for the pharmacy chain. Print materials will continue to be developed in-house. Wasserman won the business following an informal review process which also included Grey Worldwide and a joint pitch from Vrlak & Company and Shepansky Media Inc. The incumbent agency, Bryant, Fulton & Shee, was forced to resign the account due to a client conflict following its purchase by TBWA/Chiat/Day, which works with Shoppers Drug Mart. Wasserman's appointment is effective May 1, 2001.
