SALTER STREET NAMES GM/VP OF MARKETING FOR SPECIALTY CHANNEL

Salter Street Films has named Deborah Carver general manager and vice-president of marketing for its new Independent Film Channel Canada. The English-language specialty station launches this fall focusing on independent films, the filmmaking process and filmmakers. Most recently Carver served as vice-president of communications for Salter Street Films where she managed the Halifax-based entertainment company's corporate communications and production publicity.
