ASCENDA TARGETS EXECUTIVES IN NEW CAMPAIGN

It's "this way up" in a new marketing campaign for Toronto-based application service provider Ascenda Inc. A sister company of Sprint Canada, Ascenda offers mid-sized companies software applications and network platforms. The new campaign from Toronto's Vickers & Benson Arnold targets CEO's, CFO's and IT professionals. Its tagline is "This way up." Print ads from Vickers & Benson Direct+Interactive will appear in business and technology publications this spring followed by direct mail later in the season. Another direct mail effort later in the year will distribute collateral sales materials to the target market. A new web site at <http://www.ascenda.com> has also been created to provide information on the company's products and services. The site was created by Wideframe, a recently launched Web site construction division of Vickers & Benson Arnold Inc. A 30-second spot for Ascenda's sponsorship of the CBC program Canada: A People's History, created by Vickers & Benson Arnold Advertising, will continue to air as the program runs. The spot will also be seen during Air Canada's in-flight programming.
