CANADA BREAD BAKING IMPROVED DEMPSTER'S LINE

Toronto-based Canada Bread has re-launched its Dempster's WholeGrains bread line. Sold at major Canadian grocery stores, the line consists of five varieties: Stone Ground, Wheat & Oats with Honey, 12 Grain, Multigrain and Sunflower Multigrain. The nutritional benefits of the WholeGrains line are being promoted to Canadians with print advertising and a 30-second television spot. The spot, using the tagline "Dempster's WholeGrains - Grain Breads That Use the Whole Grain", will run in English Canada until March. Advertising, from Toronto's Ammirati Puris, will be supported by a consumer sampling program at select locations. Public relations for WholeGrains are being handled by Environics Communications, also of Toronto.
